When it comes to classic car restoration it can be a hard job and can take up a lot of time. When restoring a classic car you are more than likely going to have it sandblasted to ensure that it will not rust. Be sure not to rush the process of a classic car restoration job. They will need tender loving care, unless they have been garage kept since they were new.
But it’s not likely that a 1957’s car that has been kept in a garage for fifty years. Sometimes it’s good to get the car powder coated. And in some cases the engine needs to be restored too. If the car is a Chevy car you don’t want to put a ford engine in it. And if it came with a 350 in it you don’t want to put at 305 in it.
One of the main things to stick to when it comes to a classic car restoration is keeping to what was originally on or in the car. Change anything and its not going to be a “real” classic car. Now you can change the color of the car. But some classic cars had certain colors that came on them.

Most classic cars are rusted and the chrome is not good anymore, so then you are going to have to find where to buy the chrome that will match, or just change it all, and to stop the rust well that will cost too. Sandblasting is not cheap. Some places charge up to or more than one hundred dollars per hour and this job can last for a while, so that they get everything that they need and don’t end up breaking the glass. When replacing the front glass, it could cost you a lot because some classic cars had a different type of angle; they were more slanted on the top and had round edges. Just keep in mind that, the car of your dreams, may take some time and some money but in the end it will pay off when you car driving around town and getting looks from people who love your “new” sweet ride.
